Guest Posted July 26, 2010 Report Share Posted July 26, 2010 either its your subs or your amps have you felt your amps or subs to see if they feel hot? x2 this 100%. if your woofers get hot then you are clipping them with the amplifiers, this is caused by incorrect settings on the headunit, mp3 player (if applicable), or the amplifier itself. warm amps could also mean clipping or low voltage, but less often would be a ventilation problem.
