For that amount of power i would use 1.5 cubic feet and 24 SQ of port with a 35 hz tuning if you are looking to pound the lows, the FS of the sub it´s very low so it should pound nice on those frequencies, and i would do it that size because you have a good power for it, but the sub sensitive it´s kind of low so maybe you´ll need a little bit bigger box than usual 10´s , once again. i´ve never played with that sub so maybe i´m wrong!!

TC Sounds recommends .5-.6 ft^3 for a ported box, but I just can't seem to make it work...got a while before the woofer will be here so, I got sometime to fidget haha.

Brands suggest boxes for starting points only, today i built a 4 10´s pioneer box, they recommend 1.2 cubic feet per sub and i built a 1.6 per with a big ass port, scored 145.5 @ 44 hz on the TL with 2000 watts, very flat respond also wich was the main goal :peepwall:

It´s all a combination of EVERYTHING, from the car to the subs and power!! easiest thing would be to play with some pvc tubes, you try 2 or 3 different sizes and when you find the loudest one, you build some flares :peepwall:

Of course, you also try a lot of other things, like moving the box until you find the sweet spot, try to shrink the box, etc etc.
