Jeremy1998
they are the same connection, it isn't series or parallel. So if I put a 2 ohm coil on each "Speaker" connection, then the amp sees a 1 ohm load, correct?

Slawsen
there are no 14v batteries that im aware of. They are 12 and 16 volt. With a 12 volt battery when you turn on your car the alternator regulator bumps up the voltage to 14.4+- volts Are you serious? http://4xspower.com/ 00' Nissan Xterra Always under construction :] HU: Pioneer DEH3100-UB Mids & Highs: Kicker DS Component Set & Crescendo tweeters Mids & Highs Amp: Rockford 150.2 Subwoofer: 2 DC Audio LV 4 18"s Subwoofer Amp: Hifonics Brutus 2005d you been hanging out with jeff and dustin with that green paint? its yellow so it has to be loud. Slapuhho
They are rated at 14.4... and to OP this should give you an idea of what the power 1000cp is capable of I know they get tested at 14. I mean if you are running at 12.8 you will at least get 1k out of a RF amp. 4 18's, low power and lots of gay fur. Jeremy1998
Would it be ok to use the 14 volt batteries from XS Power? I mean the ones that are rated at 14 volts... they actually put out a little more, so I am told... I would think that the 14 volt rated batteries would give the amp a little more power... According to Ed they would be fine and fine on your electrical system. Trippi is running them on t2500s i think. 00' Nissan Xterra Always under construction :] HU: Pioneer DEH3100-UB Mids & Highs: Kicker DS Component Set & Crescendo tweeters Mids & Highs Amp: Rockford 150.2 Subwoofer: 2 DC Audio LV 4 18"s Subwoofer Amp: Hifonics Brutus 2005d you been hanging out with jeff and dustin with that green paint? its yellow so it has to be loud. Most automobile electrical systems are going to run at 14-15volts... you are fine. -Installer for Duke's Car Stereo 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix - Ported Eaton M90 S/C, 3.5" pulley, XS Power Headers, 1.9 Rockers, FWI, Poly Motor Mounts, Custom Tune. Oh, I'm thinking of 2 electrical systems... 2 alternators, ect. One smaller one for the stock stuff and 12 volt systems, and one larger alternator and a 14 volt battery bank for the amps. I'm pretty sure this should work... Can someone please confirm this for me.

You can run a 14 volt battery on your stock electrical is what I was saying.. They charge at like 16v. 16v batteries charge at 18, which will fry your system, but the 14 volt batteries are safe. So your plan works, just more expensive to separate it all 00' Nissan Xterra Always under construction :] HU: Pioneer DEH3100-UB Mids & Highs: Kicker DS Component Set & Crescendo tweeters Mids & Highs Amp: Rockford 150.2 Subwoofer: 2 DC Audio LV 4 18"s Subwoofer Amp: Hifonics Brutus 2005d you been hanging out with jeff and dustin with that green paint? its yellow so it has to be loud.
