Tek
I got an underbody kit installed on my car a little under a year ago. They wired it up so it will only turn on when the car is on. I never really cared about this until recently. It is not wired to my battery, it's hooked up to something else but I have NO clue what it is. If the battery/engine is on, than the lights will turn on, but they are off as soon as the battery is off. Does anybody know what it could be wired to? The wire goes up my dash to SOMEWHERE but not sure where.

Tek
Ignition maybe? I was actually thinkin' that too. Shouldn't be a hard/time consuming fix. Which would also explain why the surrounding trim piece of the ignition/steering wheel was screwed in loosely since then.. lol Edited July 30, 2010 by Tek
InfiniteRuckus
it's not hooked to the fuse box???
Tek
it's not hooked to the fuse box??? no. is it supposed to be? I thought people use the battery? *EDIT* if you mean the under hood fuse box, that is what I was planning on hooking it up to afterwards. BeatBox
i just did some neon lights today! the way i wire it was to the battery and to a switch so that you HAD to turn them on weather the car is on or off, im sure theres different ways of wiring them up tho.... BeatBox
if you wire it into the fuse box they sell this "small fuse holder with a wire" thing at autozone that would work great! its cheap too
