rubbernutz1 Posted March 31, 2011 Report Posted March 31, 2011 does it still do the whine if u unhook the rca's from the amp? it if stops then the noise is either coming from the rca's or your drck mite have a bad ground. if your usin a pioneer deck i can almost garuntee that you need to ground the rca's. pioneers seem to be bad for that shit for some reason Quote
Gotloud555 Posted March 31, 2011 Report Posted March 31, 2011 Don't know if anyone knows "The 10 Commandments of noise Prevention." - Got to know what you doing - Ground loops - Never run signal wires alongside power cables - ALways use 100% shielded audio cable - Never use the ground wire in the vehicle's oem radio harness - Making sure the amp have good auio good ground - keepin' amp power ground wire short as possible. - Don't connect all amp groud wires under one bolt - Makin sure all levels are set good - Nose filters can only reduce noise, not elminiate it... There are others nose whine can happen within the vehicle too.... Quote
MustangGT Posted March 31, 2011 Report Posted March 31, 2011 if I disconnect the rca's from the amp it stops. I was thinking maybe it's the ground from my stereo. Quote
rubbernutz1 Posted March 31, 2011 Report Posted March 31, 2011 could be the deck ground came loose or sum shit. try redoing the ground 1st then if it dont fix it try grounding the rca's Quote
