Yes , it usually turns off at high volume. As soon as I turn the car on I usually turn volume to 15- 20 (my normal listening volume ), bass hits a little then turns off. after a while it turns back on.

Ok ill check the cables. I put my multimeter with the stereo and car on and it read about 13.7. How much is my battery suppose to read while the car is on , and when its off ?

My jl 500/1 keeps turning off, how can I check to see if its the battery or the amp?
