Joshslvl4xl Posted August 2, 2010 Report Share Posted August 2, 2010 I have two sundown 3500s strapped on two dc xl 15s and i have a bad engine whine in my subs. it started maybe 2 days after i strapped them together. i have the big 3 and i cant think of any reason why i still have the noise. can somebody on here please give me some more options to check? Emoxihax Posted August 2, 2010 Report Share Posted August 2, 2010 mine's currently doing the same exact thing(though I have 2 amps and a cap connected to the same screw on the frame, could that be my problem? do you have several connected to the same frame like I do? WhiteTB Posted March 30, 2011 Report Share Posted March 30, 2011 Sorry for bringing this back up but Im having the same problem as well. Did you figure it out? I have 2 runs of 1/0 from front battery to the back. Thought that was the best ground. I unhooked those 2 wires and hooked a single to the rear seat bolt and whine went away. Then I tried took hook up all 3 and as soon as I added the ones from the front battery noise came back. Im just confused as I thought multiple runs from the front to rear would work.
