Ford has always fucked up by putting shitty springs on the Taurus since 1996. The rears are only rated at 100lbs sq inch and the fronts are rated at 150lbs and no one makes stiffer springs. So that's why every Taurus you see on the road is dragging it's ass. I found rear moog springs from a 1991-95 Taurus fit and are about 130lbs for the rear so that's what I'm doing in about two weeks to mine. No airbag options or anything special so I'm stuck with what it is. Lowering spring do exist but that would just make the matter worst. And screw coilovers.
