Jeep Patriot No power locks, no power windows and no alarm.

Recommended Posts

Okay my family got a 2008 Jeep patriot and it has no power locks or a car alarm. Its an automatic. What should I get?? Cheap and reliable is best. I was looking at viper but I don't know security systems.

Good point... Also you can find damn good deals online to... I got a viper alarm for my friend online and he saved about $120 compared to what a local shop wanted... Plus they wanted another 100 to get it installed. So he took the money he saved and had it installed... Just another option man.

Thanks! I didnt know I need other thing. Yes all I had were manual locks. I found a forum where they talk about it. http://www.jeeppatriot.com/forum/showthread.php?t=6658

Once again, thanks!

After I get that though what is a good viper model that I can get for cheap, A little bit less than lets say $300. Online or in store, whichever is better. How much would cost to install it? and how difficult is it to do it yourself?

My buddy got a decent one from best buy and installtion was free ( i believe )... Came with remote start, keyless entry, and the alarm paid and installed for $289, now the price will be different because of taxes and stuff but it shouldnt be much of a difference.
