How the hell can Boss think its ok to advertise 1800W on the amp. It has a single 25 amp fuse. 25 x 14.4 = 360W Include 70% efficiency (0.7 x 360) and you are left with 252 potential watts on a perfect day. How in the hell can they slap 1800W on it? I just don't get it, anyway nice to see this budget build still going.

Dude im sure you could sell this someone for 300 bux easy. The new amp is shiny and says 1800w and your box looks good. thats what id do that amp aint worth the cost to ship it.

Im sure it pounds for what you paid though so good job on that :P

its had a 35amp fuse i changed out for a 40amp and even though im running 4 gauge amp wire i have a kicker 300amp anl fuse on that and when i tested it the amp is actually putting out a total right now of 1,011watts but its not turned all the way up so im not getting all the power i can @ 2ohms so its actually doing better then most people think the sony i had even with 2x 40amp fuses was only doing about 300watts so its alot better then the sony lol but when i can find a new job things will be a lot more interesting lol but thanks for all the feed back any way :drinks:

25A fuse straight from Sonic. I'm telling you that amp isn't making over 300 clean watts. Its all looks and no balls.

mine can straight from boss with a 35amp fuse ans i tested it its doing 1,011watts
