MECHMAN Posted September 1, 2010 Report Share Posted September 1, 2010 The bracket will be set up to do twin 270 amp MechMan alts, or twin stock alternators. My preliminary design will actually increase the belt wrap in both alternators, which will dramatically reduce slip. I haven't built the prototype yet, but it the bracket kit with idlers and hardware should be less than $400. If people are willing to put down a $50 deposit for materials, I could get started on it this weekend.
