I'm looking for alternators and dual brackets for a 96 blazer 4.3. depending on the price I may go with two different alternators one that does 300+ and a different one with high idle output. I would be willing to personally dedicate a weekend to designing one as a side job, but I need a little cash upfront. I've spent a ton of man hours building custom stuff for people before, only to have the customer flake and stiff me. MECHMAN Posted August 25, 2010 Report Share Posted August 25, 2010 (edited) OK, if there are enough people that would be willing to put up a $50 deposit, I will spend this weekend making some up. I think I should be able to do the bracket kit with hardware and idler for around $350 each. Can all of you guys post up good pictures of your engine compartments? From my research, there were a couple different bracket setups on the 2nd gen 4.3L blazers depending on the year.
