Not very comfortable..154 db at 41 hz best score to date door open.. Eric B Posted August 13, 2010 Report Share Posted August 13, 2010 why so many layers? you shouldn't need all those layers just use some wooden dowels or all thread so you can get more air space. with that power you'll need about 4-4.5 cubes after displacement per Multiple layers ftw! Dowel rods and threaded rod have there place. But do some testing and see the difference in strength and sound from multiple layers vs. A single. You can tell a difference. Atleast I can. Overbuilt>underbuilt anyday. I agree never built such a box like this but looks a lot stronger than most.. Looks like I have lots of 45s to cut out..
