moetpoppin
check out crutchfield.com they usually tell you if you would need an adapter. I think i needed some in my blazer but i never ended up doing it since someone tboned me and i wasnt gonna put the money back into the car to fix it. sometimes you need a special adapter plate, or if you dont feel like cutting a few wires, you could even get the speaker harness adapters. Crutchfield should let you know all that if you go to the "Outfit my car" section. Theres other places for the harnesses and adapter plates if you need them though. But the easiest place on car specific stuff like that would be Crutchfield TY Quote TY Moet poppin', hoe hoppin', aint no stoppin' B.I.G. poppa, I'm a bad boy Party and Bullshit - The Notorious B.I.G. notorious97200
try to fit a component set (rather than 6x9's) : 5" 1/4 or 6" 1/2. You will need an adapter ring, or something like that. A component set will sound way better than a coaxial set. Don't be cheap on the front speakers. Forget about the rear speakers, put all the money you can on front doors : deadening material (secondskinaudio.com), speakers, and amp later when you're ready. Focal ES 100 K in front doors, and Dayton RS 180 for midbass under the front seats. 2 SSA DEMONS 10" subs, in a 2.6 ft3 ported box. SecondSkin Damplifier on front doors, and Luxury Liner Pro for the cargo area.

I've tried just front speakers and it sounds like it' not complete and there's no "surround sound" feeling. Quote 2006 Nissan Z Track.
