Aeroports for daily driving?

I'd go 2 6" Aero's for that, for a daily.

For a long time my daily was 1x DD9515 in ~3.5 cubes with 1 6" aero. Did pretty much everything you could want. Despite being tuned in the low 40's it could still break 140 @ 29hz.

Damn! Would you mind posting Pic s of that box? What power did you have on it?

I love PVC "aeroports" hehe, my 18´s sound AWESOME, very flat respond also, only 2.5 dbs difference between 30 and 55 hz , clean as hell too

Who cares if they ain´t pretty? and i didn´t need a better mold, i couldn´t fit them bigger because i had no space on the box, that vid is just so people can get the idea, my 18´s rebuild was the cheapest of all time, you need to get the facts right bro, just trying to help people out, cheers

i have two 6" PVC tubes. they are not flared yet. but it sounds great. Cant wait to get them flared out.

Last time i tested with termlab and a burp box for a single 12" and 2000 watts, we were hitting 144.5 dbs with single 6" pvc tube without flares, we flared the internal side and hit 144.9 dbs, then we flared the external side but no headed, we built a fiberglass flare and got 146.2 dbs, yes flares help a lot

In this case, i didn´t try a before/ after numbers, but last time i flared both sides of a PVC port, i got 1.2 dbs if i remember correctly, and dropped down the port noise a lot...

this is a proper mold. it will give a a much better performing flare.

Once again, it´s a cheap and fast rebuild, i just build the box, painted with bedliner, hook the amps and that´s it, only about half day rebuild, i wasn´t looking to get great looking aeroports with better performance, or work too much on a box, i had this subs laying on my room for about a year, so i said what a hell, installed them just to listen 2 18´s for the first time in my life (believe it or not) and i´m more than satisfied, this subs are going out of the car in about a month so why bother making something better?

dude, i know you ain´t making fun of nobody, and yes i do whatever the fuck i want, i gave someone a vid to give them an idea on how you can make an aeroports without much problems, it´s just to give them an idea, i can asure you not a lot of people want to build a mold and then flare the tubes, that´s why a lot of people use PVC, because it´s easier,faster and cheaper than an original aeroport or even building a mold to flare the PVC tube, no one is taking anything personally, you are the one that continues with this subject...
