hdorre Posted August 20, 2010 Report Share Posted August 20, 2010 Would there be an audible difference between 2 12" DC Level 4 XLs on a SAZ-3000D in 5 cubes (maximum box size for great efficiency) and 2 15" DC Level 4 XLs on a SAZ-3000D in about 7.5-8 cubes? The enclosure for the 15s would be less efficient, but it would have more cone area. What would be a better setup? Or would the difference be too subtle to tell? I was using the general rule of 3-5 cubic feet of airspace per 15. I talked to dc power last night also going to get one of their 270xp alternators, a shuriken skbt80 up front and a skbt100 out back another if I need it!!! I would say we are on the same page.
