Autruche
lmao i have the same shit in my closet to haha. cant wait to see this thing poundin. keep up the good work Thanks dude. I've been taking my time making sure we get everything right, the owner is getting a little tired of waiting, but knowing that you only have to do everything once is a nice feeling, and he knows it will be worth it. Autruche
All that work, make sure and wrap that power cable coming in from under the hood... It looks like you just pulled the grommet to the side, you should have cut a hole in it and ran it through the grommet... Build looks nice so far... Hope you dont have any issues with that amp... We're going to be pulling the wire out and cutting the grommet before we actually have power going down the line. I doubt we'll have any issues with the amp, it's B-stock but it's still under warranty, and I know the electrical will be up to par when the second alternator is in, and I'm not turning it up until then. you gonna be finished today? Nowhere near finished, we still need the head unit, all of the treble, the second alternator, and to resin, brace, and carpet the box, but hopefully it will be playing tonight or tomorrow. Not too sure when, because my sleep schedule is all sorts of messed up but that's what coffee is for. Need Test Tones/Sine Waves? Autruche
I love the way you guys used the pvc for the wires, nice box, tuned in Thanks dude, the pvc was necessary to keep the amp location clean, but from battery to battery it saves like 6 feet of wire. They are my biggest concern though about rattling, but that's what foam and fiberglass are for. We should be starting on it in about a half an hour, so pics tonight!Might have it bumping too, in which case, there may be a video too... We'll just have to figure that one out. Autruche
how did you guys vent the acid based batteries? We're going to have doors go over the battery compartments, and the doors will have metal mesh in them for venting, the batteries are just temporary until he can afford to upgrade though. Bare minimum i want him to get some sealed batteries like optimas or something. is it all hooked up yet? Geeze, quit rushing me guys, he's not even here yet, lol. Need Test Tones/Sine Waves?
