DylanH
Check this out http://www.the12volt.com/caraudio/woofer_configurations.asp?Q=1&I=22 This helps alot. It all depends on what ohm load you want to run at. Also check this out if you haven't already http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/83029-everything-you-need-to-know-about-car-audio/ Its alot of reading but it helps sooooo much Quote http://www.youtube.c...er/SmallTownSPL 2002 Chevy Blazer Substage: Shhh, its a secret Mids and Highs: Stock-Going to change soon Amp:MTX 92001 Wire:1/0 Welding cable Electrical:Stock http://www.stevemead...__fromsearch__1 I hope she was meaning that to you. moetpoppin
welcome to the forum haha i am proud that you are actually asking about these things rather than listen to the typical crap rumors or just blindly hook things up depending on what amp you want to run, different subs give you different options check out how wiring in parallel or series makes a difference, and also some times you can hook up each VC to a channel but only if you can set a two channel to mono but it would be better to do mono most likely ty Quote TY Moet poppin', hoe hoppin', aint no stoppin' B.I.G. poppa, I'm a bad boy Party and Bullshit - The Notorious B.I.G. bassl0va
You will also get different T&S parameters with the different coils. Especially the Q values. I'd go for the dual 2, more options. bassl0va
You lost me. lol You know those numbers labeled Qms Qts Qes etc. etc. Pretty much they will most likely be different between the two different coil options you listed. But that's probably beside the point at the moment. I'd go for the dual 2. Solely because you have more wiring choices.
