maybe you should try and get a high output alternator so you can get the full potential out of that amp. and if you haven't done the big 3 go ahead an do that with 1/0 gauge and if you haven't upgraded your battery under the hood i'd get a yellowtop optima battery and possibly a battery in the back and then maybe you won't have to get a new alternator.

sodfamily- its pretty nasty @ 1ohm.. the amp does 1909rms at that load. I had it at 1 0hm for a while and it was LOUD. just as loud as the 2 L7s.. more trunk flex then captured in this video but unfortunlly my car cant handle 1 ohm :( it dips down to 10v then the amp cuts out sometimes do i didnt do a demo of it at one cuz i dnt wanna f up my car..

Need to burp it down at 1ohm and see what she will give ya. But ya I would keep it up at 4ohm till you get the electrical upgraded. So do you like the RF better then teh Kicker or are they about the same?

rockford is WAYYYY better. it puts out more at 4ohms than the kicker did. i dnt have a bass notch with this amp but at least its new and 1 ohm stable. I also like how its almost half the size as the kicker :)
