If you get the "stock" fuel filter it may not be able to keep up with the fuel flow required causing your burn in the cylinder to become lean (too much air, not enough fuel). With a gas motor this will melt shit! Pull out a plug and look at the end. If its light brown in color you're doing ok. Read the data on the plug and get ones that are identical to it. Any time you have have a power wire next to your frame put some rubber hosing (or cut up an innertube) around it.
