Double stick tape template to frosted 1"2 inch plexi

Double stick tapae onto template

Make the template out of 1'2 inch mdf

check the template before cutting it out of plexi

mount the amps to mdf

Plexi routered and ready for a 45 degree angle

flush trim router the plexi after being stuck to the template

cut off the excess plexi material with a jig saw so it does melt while routering

Template stuck to plexi....step on it for best adhesion

Tape the back of the panel before the alumn foil to keep the foil from falling out

ca glue the outside ring to the bottom insert ring check fit

outer ring drawn out

45 degree bezel on plexi with the router

Test fit insert after marglass coat

mix up the mar glass and spread away

foil the inside to keep marglass from falling in

glue the foil to get a basic shape...waaaay faster then fiberglass and fleece

plexi Insert wrapped with perforated vinyl and surrounded by smd led lights

PLexi insert lit up and also lighting up the amps ready to do the logo and make a false floor

panel is done test fitted and ready to wrap

skimmed the panel with z-grip bondo

finished with the amp rack all in a days work. Tomorrow 9/2/10 im going to build the false floor build the logo plexi plate send it to get laser etched and try to wrap the wirring up in the car . I will post the pics
