Guest Posted September 3, 2010 Report Posted September 3, 2010 a 200-300rms woofer isnt really made for SPL...but the RE MAY be louder, absolutely impossible to tell since they both have similar power handling.

There are a thousand different factors that can affect the outcome. You simply can not just throw out two names and expect an answer for which is louder. That being said, the RE can take a wee bit more power. Stop benchracing, find one that's good for your wallet, setup, and personal tastes and get some work done Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?
