jvc problem

so i baught a jvc KD-R200 for $65 and out of no where it just stopped working, it'll turn on but then power down after like 5 seconds, when i click the display button itll turn on for about 5 seconds and turn off, wats the problem

the problem is exactly this..

lol no, but noone on here is a JVC repairer. try to press the reset button if there is any.

your problem is in the title of this thread..

umm check the fus that should be on the back of it under teh wiring harness(98% that it wont be that) but check it, and then pull it out and hook it stright up to the battery if it powers on then you know that its your faulty deck wiring, so just take the REM and + tie em together touch on the battery and then take teh negative and put it on the - terminal if it works longer then that 5 seconds its your wiring

the entire deck shuts off or just the display?

i also have a jvc deck. y do people dis on it? i havent had any problems least not yet. only had it for couple months

i have a alpine hooked up atm and it works just fine.

and the whole deck turns off not just the display.

and the fuse isnt blown so it cant b that but i might change it anyways just incase its a faulty one
