using a line driver

I searched this and looked on Audiopips's website with no luck. My question is: im running an AP30001d for my subs, plenty of battery power ect... Does anyone know how these amps will handle a line driver? or the max voltage i can use with one? if anyone has any experience or input please help a brotha out!

I'd say it would be able to take 5V maybe 6V

I thought it would do 6 maybe, but i cant find anywhere that says it can. back in the day my kenwood amps said up to 6v and i used 5volt and it clipped out and hated me for it. so i wasnt sure. funny because my us amps would do 10v all day long

Don't bother, waste of money. A line driver just makes you set your gains lower in which case with a head units nowadays there's plenty of headroom to set the gains on your amps properly.
