Swaggasaur
i have a hifonics BRZ 2100.1d coming. i have all the wiring from a previous amp i had still hooked up. what im thinking i might need is a new fuse from my battery to the amp. the amp i did have had 1 25 amp fuse. and this new one has a 200 amp fuse. so what fuse would i need for the new one? thanks for any help Quote BHE Wall Build TEAM DC Audio TEAM XS POWER1986 Monte Carlo KMC Nova's 20"4 DC XL's W/ PSI Recones2 DC 5k'sPioneer PRS 8010 Audio Technix 6 XS Power D3100's 1 XS Power D3400 Mechman 220a Alternator

skittlesRgood
what size is the wire you are using? if it is too small it wont be able to handle 200amps and the wire will melt. go to BCAE1.com and click on "wire" on the menu. it will tell you everything you need to know about wire size and what fuse to use. there is even a nice chart a little ways down that page. deeje
Exactly and since there's no fuse built in you need to put in an inline to the specs but you are gonna need some bigger wire ^^^ if you have 4 gauge don't even try it jus go get some 1/0 Quote --2004 Toyota 4runner New Build Log -2002 Acura Tl-S Old Build Log Team DC Audio spl dust is an option you can get on the coils... it's great for extra 1000 watts of power where can i get this spl dust and how much is it. is it hard to apply? lol

deeje
Yes you are correct to be safe even better to have one right off the battery and another right near the amp since there is no built in fuse in the amp.
