Both Rockford 1500 and Sundown 1500 amps in my opinion are to strong for the P2 series subs. The P2 series are only rated at 250rms each. ingramcaraudio Posted September 9, 2010 Report Posted September 9, 2010 You would be ok if you tuned your amp to where it wouldn,t blow your woofers but either would blow them wide open if your smart and doing it you should be ok with alot of room to upgrade your woofers in the future if you choose to. oprawrich2 Posted September 9, 2010 Report Posted September 9, 2010 the t1500 pushes 1000 rms on 4ohms sundown 400 rms at 4 ohm. but knowing sundown its under rated. the t1500 will give you more power at 4 ohms but a little too much if you dont know what your doing. because you'll prolly blow em if you dont set your gains and such right

I already have the yellow top optima battery.. sometimes Loud is NOT pretty Sounds like its safe to go ahead and bend that ass over.
