Help! Amps Clipping need advice

Recommended Posts

I have 2 RF p2d412's in the RF factory box they are bridged at 4 ohms on a 600 watt lightning strike amp. I usually listen to my music with the volume around 20 on my kenwood HU which goes to 30. But if i turn it up over 23 or 24 my HU turns off and on real quick and im sure thats caused by the voltage drop making my amp clip. Am i correct about that? But i need some suggestions on what to do to make my system work at its full potential and sound as good as it can. Any input would be appreciated.

wow, voltage drop from a 600w amp thats probably over rated? well, put the multi meter on there and see what the voltage is doing.

do you have loudness and bass boost on?

If I answered you in a well mannered, informative way, you asked a good question or had a good attitude. If I was an asshole, you asked a stupid question or you had a fucktard attitude... or I was in a bad mood.
