Skullz
I used edead and liked it for the price you can get it at, i would get some edead as a base layer and top it off with a layer of SS or another brand that has the thicker aluminum to help reflect the sound waves back in. Another option is to use a layer of this between or on top of some deadener to help reduce unwanted noise, 1/8" should work in helping to remove that extra road noise. http://www.foamforyou.com/volara_foam.htm Edited September 13, 2010 by Skullz Quote 01 Ford focus ZX3 Pioneer AVH-X491BHS PPI PC 4800.2 Morel Maximo 6.5" x2
slim2fattycake
why waste the layer and waste the money if you top off with a better product anyways? Skullz
When you have large panels such as roofs you need more than 1 layer to reduce flex. EDIT: For those that don't understand what flex is and what it means. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mt65xM4apFQ&feature=related Edited September 13, 2010 by Skullz Quote 01 Ford focus ZX3 Pioneer AVH-X491BHS PPI PC 4800.2 Morel Maximo 6.5" x2

sub2weeker
guys, its OK to talk about whatever brand you like......its NOT ok to promote, market, or sell your products here on the site without an agreement in place. This includes youtube video's that are obviously being used as a marketing tool. anyone who wishes to advertise on my site and take advantage of the traffic here, can use the advertise button up top. thanks guys! with all due respect Steve doesnt this guy asking questions about Sound deadner deserve to know about whats on the market? i just happened to make a pretty bad ass video and a demonstration to see what the product is all about... and i no longer see it posted here Quote this is spam imo, its not allowed here
