I had a sealed box (3 ft3) and now I run a ported one (3.1 ft3 at 33hz, I hope so ! with 2 4" psp aeroports). notorious97200 Posted September 13, 2010 Author Report Share Posted September 13, 2010 Some more info : Deadening done 2 years ago with Secondskin Damplifier (trunk, had a first layer of Fatmat) and damplifier pro (doors, trunk lid). All accessories come from Stinger (ebay and Darvex). Big 3 almost finished !! I can't access easily to the alt, so I only did grounds for the batt and for the engine block. But I could see the positive results on my voltage. I have absolutely no drops at all, even when playing at full tilt ! I have only one stock battery under the hood. We made a listening session at the beach yesterday (yeah, I live in the french Caribbeans, Martinique !!! ), and everyone was amazed. Only one set of speakers and a sub for such great quality and output !!! I'm really satisfied with the system. But, of course I would love to have one more sub and amp, and an 8" speakers for mid-bass.
