SQ Driver VS SPL Driver

Now what makes the insides of a sub woofer to be either a SQ or SPL woofer?

sq i think also lets more excusion if you look at the RE xxx they are big ass subs or the w7 supposed to be amazing for sq it moves alot i believe to hit more notes more accuratlly but icould be wrong i have my t3 t-1000's and they were sq and spl so i cant complian

i thought it had to do with the linearity of the movement.

the more linear the better it will sound. coil rock is no good

honestly im not too sure but i think spiders are fairly important in the difference of SQ and SPL

oh and a flat bl response curve is also a must

SPL woofers have strong motors, stiff spiders, small gap, better cooling, etc.
