CrossfireExpedition Posted September 16, 2010 Report Posted September 16, 2010 I have been wanting to do the big 3 and have had all the stuff to do so but Im stumped in one area. I have a 2004 Ford Expedition. I have a 200amp alt and a Kinetik HC 1800 battery. As I look at the wire from alt to battery I see a fusible link from the main power wire to the connection on my alt(smaller wires, im assuming the regulator) all tied into one. jeyrapboy Posted September 18, 2010 Report Posted September 18, 2010 Just did the big 3 it was a pain in the ass because the owner before me thought it would be a good idea to zip tie all the wires behind the alt.... Took me 35 mins to get to the power wire... Good luck man! All in all its not that big of a deal! As far as the fuse i didnt use one. But if you are worried go ahead and add one...
