bray
Ok my original plan is to get 2 fi bl 15's for my extended cab silverado... the thought of upgrading to 2 18s for an extra 60 bucks ran across my mind today... but my main concern is, will there be enough air space for the 18s in a ext cab? i plan to run 1 crescendo 3kwp for either set up.. for the 2 15's i plan on running a 8 cubic ft box.. tuned to around 32-34 hz, and for the 18's i would try to squeeze a 13 cubic ft box tuned to 32-34hz as well. in your opinion which set up do you think would perform better? hdorre
Only one 3kwp? Maybe you should look into 2 fully loaded 18" BLs or Qs On 5/8/2011 at 7:38 PM, Kranny said: On 5/8/2011 at 7:35 PM, 'Maxim' said: It hurts me inside when I read stuff like this and remember you're 15 LMFAO so true Mitsubishi 3000GT (Old Build) Headunit: Pioneer 80PRS Frontstage: (2) McLaren Audio MLT-2 Tweeters & (4) PRV Audio MR Series Neo 6.5" Mids Substage: 4 15" Hybrid Subs - Tantric Motors & Sundown Softies Amps: Banda 2.4D Amp (Tweets), American Bass VFL 350.4 (Mids), and (2) Ampere 3800s Electrical :Singer 260A Alt & JY Power Lithium 2005 Chevy Colorado Ext Cab Headunit: Pioneer 80PRS Frontstage: 4 PRV 700Ti Tweets & 6 10" Delta Mids on 3000wrms Substage: 6 Fi BTL 18s in a 4th Order Walkthrough on 3 Wolfram 4500s Electrical: Singer "390" and JY Power My Official Feedback Thread

EricR
If you can fit the 18's in the correct box they will be louder than 15's on same power. i was thinking leave the 12 sitting in the box in the hole and duck tape from the bottom of the sub to the bottom of the baffle so the sub doesnt free air. would that work? hdorre
ya only 1 lol.. (ballin' on a budget) ya thats what im looking into the BL series.. either the 15s or 18s I mis-read the first post. I thought it said BTL. I would do the 18s because you obviously have more cone area and your enclosure is big enough On 5/8/2011 at 7:38 PM, Kranny said: On 5/8/2011 at 7:35 PM, 'Maxim' said: It hurts me inside when I read stuff like this and remember you're 15 LMFAO so true Mitsubishi 3000GT (Old Build) Headunit: Pioneer 80PRS Frontstage: (2) McLaren Audio MLT-2 Tweeters & (4) PRV Audio MR Series Neo 6.5" Mids Substage: 4 15" Hybrid Subs - Tantric Motors & Sundown Softies Amps: Banda 2.4D Amp (Tweets), American Bass VFL 350.4 (Mids), and (2) Ampere 3800s Electrical :Singer 260A Alt & JY Power Lithium 2005 Chevy Colorado Ext Cab Headunit: Pioneer 80PRS Frontstage: 4 PRV 700Ti Tweets & 6 10" Delta Mids on 3000wrms Substage: 6 Fi BTL 18s in a 4th Order Walkthrough on 3 Wolfram 4500s Electrical: Singer "390" and JY Power My Official Feedback Thread

bray
You will have plenty of space I hope so lol, i kinda wanna stay below the window line. If i have to go above it a little that's fine... i just wanna be able to see out of my back window ... i guess the only way to really find out is to take out the back seats and start measuring lol
