ive had my D3400 as my starting battery for a while now with the ibar kit 555

i pulled it out today because im doing abuncha of rewiring and while it was out of the truck i put my volt meter on it and it was resting at 12.4

i put it on the charger on a 10 amp rate

should it be ok or was that resting to low??

i know there suppose to rest around 12.7-12.8

but i have had some voltage drop with my system but not much

You should charge it. 12.4 isnt horrible, but it could be better

12.9 would be fully charged. Easy test is to charge it up fully and test it with a volt meter. Should be around 14.4V when fully charged just off the charger. Then let it set for about 12hrs and test the voltage again. Should be around 12.9 or more. If thats what you get then you should be good

That's what I did and it is resting at 12.9 just like you said

Thanks!
