RedJay
I have an 07 Tahoe and the back left speaker in the door is making a nasty high pitch squeaking noise. This only happens everyonce in awhile. Sometimes when i drive it squeaks the whole way. Other times its totally silent. When my bass is turned up, it gets worse, you can almost hear it through the bass, but if i turn my sub off and keep the volume high its still there, just not as bad. I'm wondering if the speaker is blown or if there is just something loose in there? I'm leaning towards something being loose but I don't really know. Skullz
Open said offending door and start pressing on the door skin and see if you can stop the sound that way and if you aren't able to stop it then pull the door skin off and listen to where it might be coming from. There is no way of us telling what is making the noise and where its coming from you'll just have to get in there and find out. 01 Ford focus ZX3 Pioneer AVH-X491BHS PPI PC 4800.2 Morel Maximo 6.5" x2
