well i was supposed to go get my powerbass asa2000d,for $379 (shop price)the guy at the store told me the price of the 1000.d cause when i asked for the 2000 watt one he looked at the 1k and it said 2k on it next to the 1000.1 <dead give away its a 1000 watt,well my boy i work with said he had a 1500 watt compettion one,but i figured he was tryin to hustle me saying competion,plus he told me he had 1 15 and i heard it and loved it,well after the waste of the trip to the shop(clocked out to go get it : ) i asked him to let me get it he said $250 for it,sold my btl 18 for $450 last night,well i looked at it and i thought it would be the asa1500 and for $250 is still a good deal,well i was very shocked when i found out it was the xa1500d which says 1500rms but with 3 40 amp fuses which if im doing this right 3 40 amp fuses x 14.4 volts = 1728 watts,and he had a prefab box with 2 powrbass 15's and the only ones i know are the xl series thought about getting them, i asked how much he wanted for them he said 200,i said well i sold my 18 for 450 ill get the amp and i might get the sub but i need some spending money and not to go in my bnk account,he says well i'll make you a deal....(pauses rubs goatee....) 373 for the amp and 15's + box,i was all for that but i kept my calm,i go well..... what you doing on your lunch break...?get them home there the xs series 1.000rms 2,000 peak ribbed basket,i new they were special when i had to pick up the box, just a hell of a story had to share with everyone,im probably gonna sell them im looking to do a sb2 or sb3 system
