IH8PunkRok Posted September 27, 2010 Report Share Posted September 27, 2010 i was messing around in the BIOS of my comp. i found the clock speeds for my CPU. it said to enter a value between 133-165. i entered 165, hit save and exit and now i get no picture. the computer will start but nothing will load and no video is shown on my monitor. so uhh... what did i do? why wont it start anymore? Sanitarium Posted September 27, 2010 Report Share Posted September 27, 2010 failure to post. unplug it, yank open the case and pull the bios battery and wait a few minutes before putting it all back together. if that don't work, there may be a jumper to move to reset your bios. If yours seems slow, maybe it's time to wipe the hard drive and reinstall your OS fresh. Computers build up bloat over time, that's just the way it is.
