great work man i love the color scheme :good: :good: :good:

Thanks, the colour has worked out really good for us!

Looks cool, looks like it weighs a ton with all that wood though. I like thats its a right hand drive also.

It does indeed weigh a ton, i am hoping to get it on a weigh bridge to find out just how much heavier it is from standard! Lots more right hand drive Beetles than left hand drives over here in the UK!

I really like this build, keep the pictures coming.

Heres some more pictures for you!

Heres the first bit of product branding!!

To make sure the floor was complete I decided to do sill covers...

The only part of the interior that was not completed by myself was the seats, we used old Ford Escort seats with the head rests removed and the backs cut down. I asked a local trimmer friend to cover them and they turned out like this!

And here is the 90% finished interior... What do you think?

As the car needed to be semi ready for a show and we didn't have any front end sound I quickly installed the front SQ-ish speakers, they are the best JL Audio do in co-ax and also come with a their own crossovers.. They retail at over £350!! They we're always in the plan but I was going to install them at a later date, the plan is to have a sweet sounding front end with a small sub hidden somewhere as a more SQ demo system and then be able to turn the SQ side off and go loud with the 6 x 13inch subs and the doors.. The doors are in progress so should have pics for you soon!!

I also added a flip down panel in the dash which holds an iPhone/iPod.

IMG_1979.JPG

I never liked the old factory switch gear in the Beetle so I re-wired the whole dash, adding new switches and a few extra relays.. looks so much better and is a lot more reliable now!

Really hope everyone likes it! Nearly all the work has been done in my own time.. hence why its taken a while!

Still more to come!!
