Secondly , for the truck itself, its getting 2 layers of 7/8" lexan for all the glass that "must be there", suspension is getting peterbilt air..... and doors TBD as we start shredding them, since its only gonna have 3 that open anyway..... drivers, and rear two....... My biggest worry isn't the glass, shocks, or doors anyway, but rather the roof.....I read in the MECA rules, that it cannot be built anymore than 3/4" added, so I'm more worried about that....... Total cost will more than likely be well over 100K BTW...... I'm looking into ZED audio for amps..... thinking like 2200 per coil on quad coil sub........... The sprinter was chosen for its height, so we can build 3 full walls..... one for amps, one for batts, and obviously a big ass clamshell..... Looking at 32 15" subs, of which I'm not letting the name of slip............ Thats all the info I'm ok with letting out , until things start showing up............... The only other info I'll let out, is that Frieghtliner, Peterbilt, and Boeing will all have their hands in this build.................It will NOT be ready to compete by the begging of next season, but it will show up sometime next year........... Those who choose, to hate, or doubt may feel free to do so......I was taught at a young age, a man is judged more by what he does than what he says, so feel, and or think whatever you want, and in the end... I will be the one. laughing..... it doesnt matter if I ever hit 170's.... I want to build this, and its already started in motion.... It will get done..... who knows what will change during the build....... Hell I might end up with like 16 18's or somethings , who knows.....it might end up being flashy, and not as loud, I wont know till I get to building...... As fo doing work... I wish I could get dirty allready, but nothings here yet... The only things I have hear are a couple GLI's ( I prolly wont use anyway) and a few hundred feet of Smaller speaker wire.. Nothing bigger than 14 Ga, and I think I only have about 125 feet of that..) MDF should be here either tonight or tomorrow..... but still cant do much with it till the ugly green thing gets here.......( My sprinter, thats getting sprayed flat black, and maybe, just maybe a cool graphic, on 1 corner, if it's still in budget, after its all done) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
