Socky
We need to know what amp also. Most likely you are running to small of a wire for the amp. Causing it to get really hot and melt the wire. raytard
i know you have a truck and its not going to far, but a 150a fuse is 0g territory, I personally don't use 4g for anything past 100 amps Quote Build: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...hl=avalon+build monster/rockford/kicker/stinger cables, pioneer source, jbl highs/amps, kinetik/shuriken batts, iraggi alt, dei security, dc subs(atleast for now) Team DC

Swaggasaur
could be the 4 gauge. i had a supposed 4 gauge wire running to my 2100 watt amp and the wire plastic melted together with my fuse block. haha but no problems with the 0 gauge Quote BHE Wall Build TEAM DC Audio TEAM XS POWER1986 Monte Carlo KMC Nova's 20"4 DC XL's W/ PSI Recones2 DC 5k'sPioneer PRS 8010 Audio Technix 6 XS Power D3100's 1 XS Power D3400 Mechman 220a Alternator
mosthated89
i have some 2 gauge jl do you think i should buy a new fuse block and a 100 amp fuse and hook all that stuff up?
Swaggasaur
depends on what your amp fuse rating is does it need an inline fuse? or is there one in the amp?
