6x9 vs 6.5

6.5s, not too big a fan of ovals

Personally i prefer 6x9's coax's over 6.5" coax's just cause the 6x9's have more bass to them and are generally spec'ed from 30hz to 20khz depending on brand vs. 60hz or more depending on the brand leaving you wanting bass but never getting it from those speakers. Components are a bit different as you can mix and match any and all brands to achieve the desired effect.

6x9's give better bass but if you have subs you dont need that so with subs I go 6.5 components

Really depends on the brand Pyle 6.5's < focal 6x9's.

Pretty much^. those kill many 6x9's, but once again it all depends on the brand/quality

The thing is my back 2 seats have cut outs meant for 6x9's so I don't have to do any extra work. now my amps specs are

75rms x 4 @4 ohms

115 x 4 @ 2

230 x 2 @ 4

W/ 6x9's do they drop ohm loads when you hook them up? Let's say I throw 4 6x9's in the car and hook them to each channel of the amp. If the 6x9's are 4 ohm will they stay 4 ohm if I hook them up positive to positive and negative to negative? little confused here
