best 8" sub or subs for mid-bass

Just gonna throw this out there... you want the 'best sq' drivers but you're going to have midbass playing from the center console?

Ever been at a concert where half the drum kit is on the other side of the stage from the other? No? That's because it will sound fucked up.

You need to think carefully about your goals here :) If you just want loud and upfront an SQ oriented driver is not well suited to this.

Same thing about marching bands...your drumline is concentrated all together and is usually in the middle of the field.

take baby steps, u cant do it all at once unless u have a roll of 100's big enough to choke a donkey
