spl port qustions

Recommended Posts

I saw u had 20 8 inch subs, right?

so that's about 770sq inches of cone area.

I get about 565sq inches....remember surround and gasket dont make bass. The cone is about 6" in diameter. It still is a very big port....

I know about the last part. ;) (i though the measurement from the middle of the cone to middle of the surround was 7 inch ;) that's how you measure it from one half of the surround to the other half. )

And if u take the gasket in account it would be closer to 8.5 inch. :peepwall:

I hope OP has answers now. :)

Thinking is the root of all problems...
