smell from subs

Good thing man. Like I said, I'm working on my recone now, if it doesn't smell pleasant, it isn't pleasant. Whenever you smell that, your either clipping or over-excurting the subs. Good luck with it man

if you have your enclosure too small or port area too small, then your woofer cant move enough to cool the coils. just another approach to it....... the only time i ever killed a solo-x spair was when i tried my 18 in the old enclosure from my 12. and i burnt up for that very reason.....

well, my amps were doin a lil over 2.5k each at 2 ohm, and i was running them at 1 ohm. id say a bit over 5k.

damn so these damn things can handle the 5k? what were u hitting on 1 12"

Quality is all in how you take pictures ;) I have plenty of projects that look WAY better on camera then in person :D
