MarioB Posted October 13, 2010 Report Share Posted October 13, 2010 im running 2 kicker solo x 10" on kicker ZX2500.1. 1 amp to each sub. on alot of songs they start to smell after about a min. or so. what could be causing this? box to small mayb? there wired to 4ohms. Turn your gain down a little and see if it does it. Subs lol...take a crappy speaker and hook it up to an amp that will fry it. Once it smokes you'll have something to compare the smell t o.
