Anyways, as my topic says, right now I have 2 12" sony explods in a cheap pre-made box. Got the box and subs for $100 so I jumped on it when I saw them. Well I have a friend at school wanting to buy them with the box for $125. I looked online and found a 12" Alpine Type R for $120 shipped. My question is if I build a custom box, depending on the tune, would the alpine have more bass or the 2 sony's(not sure on the tune for this box either)?
