Ok so I am looking to compete on a near non existent budget for MECA S1 in 2011. I am gonna have to pull something out of thin air in order to even be competitive.Mt car is a 2002 Ford Focus Sedan

Im only going to be able to use 200 watts Rms per subwoofer.

this is the amplifier specs I have

* 760 x 1 watts peak @ 4 ohms

* 250 x 2 watts peak @ 4 ohms

* 190 watts RMS x 2 @ ohms

* 380 x 1 RMS @ 2 ohms

* PWM Regulated MOSFET Power Supply

* Bridgeable 2/1 Channel amp

* Hi-Volt Input Level Control (400mV-6.5V)

* Balanced Isolator Input Circuit

* Oversized Screw-Type Power Terminals

* Molex Type Speaker Level Inputs

* Selectable 80 Hz Low-Pass Filter (12 dB/octave)

* Switchable 50 Hz Bass Boost (0/6/12 dB)

* Amplifier Type: 2-channel

* RMS power @ 4 ohm: 125W x 2 @ 14.4V

* THD @ 4 ohm RMS power: <0.015%

* Bridged RMS power @ 4 ohms: 380w x 1 @14.4V

* Speaker level inputs

* Frequency response: 10-50,000 Hz

* Signal to noise ratio: >95dB

* CEA-2006 compliant

* Bass Boost: 0 - 12 dB

* Requires 4 gauge amp kit for installation

* Fuse Rating: 30A x 2

* Dimensions: 10.5" L x 13-5/8" W x 2.5" H

The Subwoofers are Pioneer 10's

* 10" high powered sub

* champion series!

* 1,000 Watts Maximum Power

* 200 RMS Rating

* Frequency Response: 20-180 Hz

* 93 dB Sensitivity

* IMPP Composite Cone for strong bass response

* 32 Oz Strontium Magnet

* Wide-Roll Dual-Layer Urethane Surrounds eliminates distortion

* 6-Layer Single Copper Voice Coil

* Projected Pole Yoke with Vented Pole for even and strong sound

* Stamped Basket

* Magnet Cover

* Push Terminals

* Nomex Spider

* 4 Ohms Impedance

* Mounting Depth: 5 1/4"

* Sealed box volume: 0.55 - 0.69 cubic feet

* Ported box volume: 1.0 - 1.25 feet

Would I be able to compete in S1? also would a ported box sealed off in the fold down seat opening be good? It would be Subs and Port facing forward .

I know Resonanating frequency is roughly 43-46 hz. The Amp is also a Pioneer .I could compete in AS1 I just figured S1 was same rules/guidelines. Wont tuning high kill any chance of any music response ? I know Sine it would be loud

Yes, tune high. If you know your car's resonant frequency tune it around there. If you don't, find out.

how do u find out
