yup Sean did it.....no matter what anyone says about the guy, he can install the HELL out of an alarm - probably the best ive seen. Jack kicks major ass too though Pics tonite, but im on just a bunch of boring wire-running at the moment so its nothing exciting to see The 12,000k HID conversion was finished last night (high, low, and fog) and it looks SPECTACULAR! Anyway a little more work today and ill have some updates tonite

How much brighter is the 12,000 Hid bulbs to the 8,000 Hid bulbs?

It will be the other way around, the 8000K will be brighter than the 12000K. As temperature goes up, light output goes down but will have more color(blue with 12000K).

depends how low of a temp you start at.

I spent about 2 hours going through all the build posts for this Caddy this morning, and I have to say; Steve, you really are an amazing guy. Your absolute attention to detail is utterly staggering, and your craftsmanship and patience with this project are all very commendable. Without ever seeing this, I dont think I would ever have had a full understanding of the complexities of designing, implementing, and building such a complex system. Kudos to you man, and I look forward to seeing more of your amazing work!

IIRC 2002 was the last year that escalades came without stock HIDs, and i dont remember seeing that the hoopty had aftermarket HIDs in any of the earlier videos

any plans to put in aftermarket HIDs?

i would hate to see a vehicle worth $100,000+ not look its finest for lack of a $250 headlight mod

Steve has 7000s in the lows and fogs in his 2001 Tahoe, now Chicken has 12000s in the lows and fogs in his 2002 Escalade. I'd love to see some comparison pics for color/brightness differences for sure
