Theres lots of stuff in this truck that isnt the focus of the install that im proud of....lots of it will go unnoticed but at least I WILL know i learn from my mistakes, or i try to......and part of learning from mistakes is also making life easier on yourself the next go-round. They started with the bullshit (hating) and I had to shut them down . I honestly did not expect it and wonder why they have to do that. Honestly speaking, you have one of the cleaniest installs around (East and West) and i commend you on it. some ppl jus cant put up with other ppl being better than them so they jus make up shit n start bullshit about shit Quote the only person i wouldnt let build my box would be Ray. meade916 Posted March 28, 2008 Author Report Share Posted March 28, 2008 well thanks for sticking up for me anyway it dont matter, i dont work at a shop, i dont see 20 cars per day.......im not even an expert im just a amature hobbiest....hence the reason im at my desk right now looking at Architectural drawings and not a battery or something. Much props to those that work in a shop and can pull apart a 97 cavalier and have an alarm in it in an hour....then turn around and do the same to a 08' benz. I couldnt do it. It would take me all day just to get the deck out probably. Im only halfway decent at the few cars i have experience with so tell your boys its all good with me. They can keep hatin im gonna keep doing my thing over here. I have a lot of friends all over the U.S. with shops but there are a few that hate on a brotha for doing big things straight out tha-garage. It hurts alot of guys feelings i think. By the way, would they hate less if i told you guys i was a NY Native myself? meade916 Posted March 28, 2008 Author Report Share Posted March 28, 2008 To answer your question, you can run 500 speakers to any amp.....series/parallel (combo) wiring FTW As long as in the end you have your impedence correct thats all that matters. (enough power for the amount of speakers too of course). The speaker leads arent all going to be "crammed" into the T15k anyway, they are all coming off of a passive x-over network that was first dialed in by an Active x-over before that (the 3sixty.2) it will be fine trust me... on the termpro thing....im a mod there yes but im not an admin, you will have to email wayne harris if you have forum login issues... sorry man! People don't see the time spent on the can ( and don't want to) thinking of all the different way to do 1 little task, The "if I do it this way will it affect this or that".
