Good point, unless you go for a big drive everyday. haha. But you won't sit in your room for 10 hours blasting loud music. maybe 2 hours, but not 10.

Barevids is cool but trust me, he didn't reach 140db, that is a lie. 130db maximum I say, but I doubt it.

But yeah, you won't get 140db in a house. It isn't impossible, but you won't have enough room and enough money to do it.

You have two choices, be happy with about 120db in your room, or buy a car.

And because you don't want a car you have to be happy with 120db.

Also, that yamaha 12" is epic, just because it isn't huge doesn't mean it is bad.

most "cinemas" are not built to be loud, they are built to sound good.

If you seriously want a loud subwoofer and money is not a problem, and you want it to be huge, get this one and call it a day, PLEASE.

I honestly don't think you know what you're getting yourself into, but whatever helps the audio companies, I won't complain about.

if money is no problem, why dont you hire some people to help you lift the 22" jackhammer?

you can get two of those

put in on some 0.5" MDF and youre good to go!

maybe like a 5 cube box tuned to 15 hz

you should see atleast 140 dbs
