Lsantana954 Posted October 19, 2010 Report Share Posted October 19, 2010 was wondering if i can get some recommendations on where to set my sub sonic and low pass settings on my Hifonics BXi1606D Its for a single 12" DC Lvl 4 with the Lvl 5 coils with 1 stiff and 1 medium spider. It will be going into a sealed box approximately 1.3 and no dampening material. Autruche Posted October 19, 2010 Report Share Posted October 19, 2010 (edited) always set your sub low pass to 8O-100Hz, and your subsonic to what your box it tuned for, for a sealed set it to like 25hz, not too sure on that one though. Sealed boxes aren't really tuned, just ported ones. The best way to find out is to measure the outside dimensions of the box and all the dimensions of the port and punch them into the torres box calculator, which you can download from the thread that is stickied in the subs/boxes section. Don't forget to factor in your woofer and bracing displacements too. it may be confusing at first, but you'll get the hang of it right away. Quote Need Test Tones/Sine Waves?
